The partial discharge configuration software features real-time waveform display, 1 large peak display, positioning, and other functions. The software can also analyze a specific phase waveform in detail, partial discharge, freely zoom in and out of the window, and perform spectrum analysis on the data segment to analyze the spectrum content of the discharge waveform, making the discharge waveforms more comparable. The GIS partial discharge detector comprehensively statistically analyzes test data, reducing the impact of unstable factors during the test on the results.
Working Principle
The principle of partial discharge testing is the high-frequency pulse current measurement method, i.e., the ERA method. When partial discharge occurs in the test object CA under the test voltage, the discharge pulse signal is sent to the input unit via the coupling capacitor CA. The pulse signal picked up by the input unit is amplified by a low-noise preamplifier, filtered by a filter amplifier to select the required frequency band, and amplified by the main amplifier to reach the required amplitude and generate a zero marker pulse. Then, on the elliptical scanning baseline of the oscilloscope screen, a visible discharge pulse is generated, and it is also sent to the pulse peak meter to display its peak value.
