According to the IEC 60270 standard, common problems in partial discharge measurement include: misjudgment caused by background noise interference, sensitivity affected by sensor installation position, and inconsistent results from multiple measurements. The PDL-3600 partial discharge detector provides multi-scenario adaptation solutions for the above problems. The device supports three forms: handheld portable, desktop multifunctional system, and fixed online monitoring system, making it convenient for technical engineers to flexibly choose according to on-site conditions.
The PDL-3600 adopts single-chip microcomputer control, and parameters such as discharge threshold, sampling frequency, and filter band are set via keyboard. The measurement frequency band covers 20kHz~300kHz, and it can detect partial discharge signals from 0.1pC~10000pC. The device has a built-in battery capacity test module, which can perform capacity tests on battery packs, identify lagging batteries and display the remaining capacity of each individual cell, improve capacity and reduce internal resistance through activation, and improve the phenomenon of unbalanced cell voltages. Parameters such as equalizing charge voltage, float charge voltage, discharge end voltage, charge/discharge current, duration, and capacity can all be set via keyboard.
This detector is suitable for inspection and diagnosis of insulation defects in high-voltage electrical equipment, including GIS, transformers, switchgear, cables, etc. At substation sites, technicians can first use handheld mode for rapid screening, and after discovering abnormalities, use the desktop system for detailed analysis. The fixed online monitoring system can be used for long-term status tracking of key equipment. Through multi-scenario adaptation, it helps technical engineers solve common problems such as background noise interference and poor measurement consistency.
