During design and selection, it is often difficult to determine whether transformer windings have suffered mechanical deformation due to short-circuit impacts or transportation vibrations. Traditional bell-jar inspection is costly and time-consuming.
The HZ-FRA300 Transformer Winding Deformation Tester uses the frequency response analysis method, injecting a swept-frequency signal into the winding and measuring the amplitude-frequency response characteristics. By comparing differences among the three-phase windings or with historical data, it determines whether axial or radial deformation has occurred in the windings. The frequency range is 10Hz to 2MHz, with sweep accuracy better than 0.1%.
The instrument automatically saves ambient temperature and humidity parameters to provide a basis for diagnosis. Built-in storage can save 200 sets of test curves and supports USB export. It is suitable for factory tests and preventive tests of oil-immersed transformers and dry-type transformers at 35kV and below.
According to the voltage level and capacity of the transformer under test, select the appropriate sweep frequency range and signal output amplitude. The HZ-FRA300 offers multiple excitation voltage options to adapt to different winding impedances. Pay attention to the test fixtures and grounding method to ensure signal integrity.
