Issues such as voltage fluctuation and flicker in power comprehensive analyzer
Power comprehensive analyzer (often called power quality analyzer, power comprehensive tester) is an "all-around diagnostic expert" in power systems and industrial sites. It can not only measure how much electricity is used like an ordinary meter, but also deeply analyze the "health status" of electric energy, accurately capturing invisible power problems such as voltage fluctuation and harmonic pollution.
⚡ Core Working Principle
The core of the power comprehensive analyzer lies in high-speed synchronous sampling and digital analysis:
Synchronous acquisition: The instrument uses voltage test leads and current clamps (such as Rogowski coils, Hall clamp meters) to synchronously collect instantaneous values of voltage and current in the power grid at a very high sampling rate (e.g., hundreds of thousands of times per second).
Digital computation: The built-in high-performance processor (such as ARM, DSP, or quad-core IPC) performs high-speed calculations on the massive collected data. Using algorithms such as discrete Fourier transform (DFT), it decomposes complex waveforms and accurately calculates parameters such as fundamental wave, harmonics, power, and phase.
Comprehensive evaluation: Combined with international or national standards (such as IEC, IEEE, GB), it compares and evaluates the calculated indicators, automatically generating power quality reports or fault diagnosis conclusions.
