The terminal markings are clear, and the high-voltage output end and grounding end are arranged separately, reducing the risk of misoperation. The control part has overvoltage and overcurrent protection, and automatically cuts off the output when the test is abnormal.
When selecting a model, it is necessary to confirm the voltage level, length, and capacitance of the cable under test. The KDX-45 has a rated capacity of 4.5μF, which can meet the testing needs of conventional 10kV cables. If the capacitance of the test object is relatively large, the load matching should be calculated to avoid exceeding the capacity range.
