The WFT-6600 transformer winding deformation tester adopts the swept-frequency response method, with a sweep measurement range of 10 Hz–10 MHz, and is suitable for comparison and screening of transformer winding condition during the design and selection stage.
Point 1: Confirm that the sweep range matches the capacity and voltage level of the transformers in the station. 10 Hz–10 MHz covers the frequency response characteristic range of common distribution and power transformer windings. During selection, the wiring mode of the device under test and the number of instrument channels should be verified.
Point 2: Calibrate the test leads and clamps before testing, and keep the wiring position and length consistent for each measurement to reduce frequency response curve shifts caused by wiring differences, facilitating later longitudinal comparison.
Point 3: On-site measurement should preferably be carried out when the winding temperature is relatively stable, and the oil temperature and environmental conditions should be recorded as reference conditions for historical data comparison.
Point 4: The instrument should be stored in a dry environment free from strong electromagnetic interference. When not in use for a long time, power it on periodically for inspection. Avoid excessive bending of the test clamps and connecting cables.
Point 5: Measurement results are mainly based on horizontal and longitudinal comparison of curves. A single data set should not be used as a conclusion alone and must be judged comprehensively in combination with historical records.
Point 6: Take shockproof measures during transportation and handling, keep the interface parts clean, and prevent dust and moisture from entering.
